Urban Decay Theodora palette

Urban Decay have released two limited edition eyeshadow palettes to coincide with the release of the new Disney film Oz the Great and Powerful. The Theodora palette and the Glinda palette have shades based on Mila Kunis' and Michelle Williams' characters respectively.

Out of the two I decided to get the Theodora palette as it had darker, warmer shades that I thought would be more suitable for my olive complexion. The palette consists of six eyeshadow pans, two of which are split into two shades, a mini version of their black 24/7 glide on eye pencil, and a super saturated high gloss lip colour in the limited edition shade Theodora. The packaging is a sturdy plastic reminiscent of their Naked 2 palettes and has a large mirror that spans the entire lid area. Each eyeshadow pan can easily be popped out and back in to be used singularly or put into a different UD palette.

Eyeshadow shades from left to right: Broken, Beware, Bewitch, West, Spell, Jealous

Swatched dry on bare skin in the same order.

The eyeshadows are soft and creamy to apply and quite pigmented in a single stroke. The sheerest shade is the black one in the Spell duo but this works well in my favour as I usually only use black shades to darken up the crease area.

The eye pencil is super soft and glides on like a dream. The UD 24/7 eye pencils have always been my favourite, their staying power is phenomenal even if you suffer from the occasional watery eye like me. The lip gloss is a cool toned red with a lot of colour pay off and shine.

Overall I really like this palette and can't wait to try and recreate Mila's lovely make up look.
