H&M jacket (similar) / Zara top (similar) / New Look skirt / La Moda bag*/ Regal Rose choker, rings and hair rings / ASOS sunglasses / Jeffrey Campbell boots
Yeah I was re-watching Leon the other night so I felt a little inspired. Mathilda is just the coolest kid, I wish I had had the sense to dress like that when I was 13. I am more partial to silver hardware on bags versus gold but it seems to be a rarity on the highstreet, so I was pretty stoked when La Moda kindly offered me to choose a few pieces and I found this beauty on their site. It's the perfect size for daytime wear and the fringing looks especially awesome as you walk. Also found this aviator jacket in H&M for £15, I love it, I don't own any form of outerwear in this colour and anything fleece lined generally makes me super happy. I've just come home from treating my mum to a delicious lunch at her favourite Chinese restaurant. What have you got planned for Mother's Day?

Miss Selfridge coat (similar) / & Other Stories jumper / Topshop trousers (similar) / Topshop necklace / Zara shoes / Proenza Schouler bag / Totoro key chain
Wow it's been a whole week since my last post, I apologize for the unusual absence. Although I have quite a few outfits queued, life has still managed to defer me from getting any of them up on the blog. So much for trying to get back on track with my scheduling! I'm back in London but have had a rather occupying two days since I landed, it seems even the jet-lag hasn't managed to catch up with me yet. It also looks like I have missed the sunny weather in the UK, which is a shame as I quite miss wearing shoes such as these beauties from Zara. I'm still not brave enough to wear flats in this weather, cold feet are literally my worse nightmare. Added another pair of trousers to my humble but growing collection and although these ones remind me a little of pyjamas, I think they look quite nice dressed up with a coat or blazer. I opted for my pink coat and grey jumper underneath as I absolutely adore this colour combination.

Isabel Marant x H&M cardigan / Hot Topic Loki t-shirt / Miss Selfridge top (worn underneath) / Primark skirt / Minkpink bag / Muffy's saddle shoes / Celine sunglasses
Walking around Paris is always such a lovely experience; the sidewalks are less crowded than in London and the surrounding architecture is beautiful with fewer high rise buildings. This particular day we walked from our hotel to the Arc de Triomphe, taking our time and enjoying just being in the city. I'm especially proud that we didn't get lost with only a basic map in hand (neither of my friends or I are particularly good with directions) but funny thing was that once we had the roundabout with the Arc on it in sight, we couldn't figure out where to cross the road to get to it and basically circled the perimeter of the area for ages before we realised there was an underground pass. Smart. Outfit-wise I had a bit of fun pairing my super cozy cardigan with the bag and skirt, a crazy mixture of patterns and interesting textures that I think (hopefully) didn't end up looking too obnoxious. And who doesn't love Loki? If I remember correctly this was a junior girls tee I found on Amazon. I'm not sure whether I would've been as chuffed to have a villainous character on my shirt when I was that age but hey maybe times are changing.

At the end of last year, my friends and I took a spontaneous trip to Paris for a week. Even though two of us had previously visited the city before, it is still one of our absolute favourite destinations in the whole wide world so we decided to do the touristy things all over again (also for the benefit of my other friend who'd never been). First stop was of course the Eiffel Tower. It was a beautiful, sunny December day so the view from the top was of a particularly dazzling, illuminated Paris, the buildings forming intricate shapes when looked down upon from above. Brings to mind that dream building scene from Inception. I packed these two pieces from & Other Stories for the trip and later realised they'd in fact go quite well together, a jumper over a dress is my favourite formula for a fine yet occasionally blustery day and the mustard colour almost perfectly matches the cute fox print on the dress.

Ray-ban sunglasses / Converse sneakers / Rebecca Minkoff bag / Topshop necklace / Primark rings / & Other Stories & H&M bracelets
Summery interlude on the blog today, appropriate since I am currently sweating it out in Perth, Australia where it actually hit 38 degrees celsius yesterday! This outfit is something I wore last summer in London but didn't get round to posting and unfortunately now I can't for the life of me remember who this LWD is by, although I'm pretty sure I got it off Revolve Clothing. The great thing about it is that it's really two separate pieces that you tie together at the front, so you can adjust the length of it and how much of a cut out you want. I added some colour with a bright coral necklace and green wayfarers which are in fact foldable through the handles and down the middle of the nose so it's nice and compact when you need to fit it in a small bag or a pocket.

Fellow nerds rejoice for today the renowned gods of nylon, Black Milk, release a collection inspired by the television series Game of Thrones. Whether you call Daenerys Targaryen your Khaleesi or will rally behind the last Stark, we can all collectively agree that there would be nothing better than being able to wear prints from all over Westeros on our bodies and share our love for this fantastic series. Above are only some of my favourite picks: images such as the Iron Throne, Rhaegal's scales, House sigils and even Littlefinger's cunning quotes have been made into leggings, skirts and dress styles so there is definitely something for everyone.
Check out the full collection here.

Miss Luxe sweater* / Primark skirt / Topshop shoes (old) / Zara bag (sale) / J.Crew earrings / Celine sunglasses
I remember first really coveting daisy print when Karen Gillan did her big bald reveal at Comic Con. Whilst everyone was admiring her shaved new do, I was quite taken by the Urban Outfitters daisy crop tee she was sporting. I then kept umm-ing and ahh-ing every time I walked past it hanging in a store but couldn't justify making such a summery purchase at the time, and when the heat finally rolls in, would I be as keen to wear a black tee? So when Miss Luxe offered me to choose a piece from their line, I was so happy to find a similar print in a cropped jumper form, perfect for pairing with all my high waisted skirts this season. The knit is thick, great quality and not itchy, which is amazing for the price. The skirt is one of my favourite buys from Primark, it reminds me of ones by Tibi except this one is made of a scuba material that drapes quite nicely while still skimming over any lumps and bumps.

It's no secret that I harbour a deep love for British actress Sophie Turner, main reason being she portrays my all time favourite female literary character Sansa Stark in the television adaptation Game of Thrones. Aside from grasping all aspects of Sansa's personality ridiculously well (something very important to me, I can't tell you how many times I've been disappointed by an actor's translation of a book character onto the screen), Sophie is unbelievably photogenic and this shoot is a heavenly mix of feminine pieces incorporating everything from lace and florals to geometrics and metallics. All complimented by those signature flowing locks that makes me want to resolve to never touch the scissors ever again.
