Topshop dress / Topshop shoes / Chanel bag

One of my dream designer dresses would be that floral collared Valentino number that was seen on the likes of Zooey Deschanel and Alexa Chung, and when I saw Topshop come out with this inspired piece, I just had to have it. I was saving it for a special occasion and ended up wearing it to the world premiere of Testament of Youth at the London Film Festival. As may be apparent by my frizzy hair, it was freezing and drizzling that evening so the addition of Primark super cozy tights were very welcome indeed. I thought the film itself was the best I'd seen this entire year, I can't wait till it gets a general release so I can watch it again. It's based on a true First World War memoir and stars Game of Thrones' Kit Harington and Alicia Vikander (who I loved in The Royal Affair), and it's a really sad story but incredibly touching and inspiring, with a strong female lead character. Seems like a foolproof recipe for a most memorable movie in my opinion!
