Primark 'The Hobbit' t-shirt / New Look collared top (worn underneath, similar here) / Topshop skort (super similar) / Zara cardigan / Topshop beanie / Zara boots / Luna Sky Dinosaur bracelet*

Growing up I was always more of a Lord of the Rings fan than a Harry Potter one and I blame/owe it all to my primary school teacher who was quite possibly the worst when it came to academics but the best from another point of view because all he wanted to do was read the LOTR novels to us for story time. Initially I had no idea what was going on or what it was about (I was ten years old at the time) but when The Fellowship of the Ring movie first came out I remember thinking that perhaps he was a pretty hip teacher after all and I should probably listen to him more. Soon my interest was kindled and while most of my peers were wistfully waiting for their Hogwarts acceptance letters, I dreamt of being an elf (the Legolas kind not the Dobby kind). Now that the final Hobbit film is out, I'm definitely sad to see the end of Tolkien's world on the big screen but at the same time I'm so grateful that it's been such a big part of my life for so long.
