Zara gilet / Laundry Boutique jersey trousers*/ ASOS jumper / Miss Patina jumper (worn underneath, collar showing) / SheLovesCuteStuff Totoro collar chain*/ Daniel Wellington watch*/ Valentino shoes / Primark bag / Celine sunglasses
If you follow me on instagram, you might have already seen the latest addition to my shoe collection. I may not be a hundred percent correct here due to lack of experience but I think the love I have for these may be akin to the love a mother feels for her newborn child. Yeah. Now I'm torn between wanting to wear them every single day or keep them on display forever in a safe place inside my house. Another of my favourite new-ins is this faux fur gilet I found in the Zara sale. I'd never been one for fur gilets as I thought they'd make my silhouette resemble a gorilla's but these ones are waisted, which I'd never previously seen before in a gilet. I really enjoy wearing it now, it keeps me warm without restricting arm movement (I never realise how much flailing I do day to day until my circulation gets cut short in a structured sleeve). A brand I've recently discovered is Laundry Boutique. When they got in touch to collaborate, their comfy aesthetic and floaty pieces struck me as clothing I'd personally be more inclined to lounge around at home in but I trialled a day out in this pair of trousers (more like leggings though) and ended up really loving how they looked/how comfy they were. It's one of my new year's fashion resolutions to play around with different silhouettes more and ease up on the ol' crop top and skater skirt combo wahhh. Last but not least, my very talented blogger friend Jenny of SheLovesDresses has made me fall in love with collar clips all over again with these Totoro ones she hand made. She's got a whole bunch of other equally adorable designs on her Etsy and I'm definitely going to add more to my collection. It just makes sense that a collar fiend like me should have all the necessary accessories right?
