Chevron is a very underrated pattern. Perhaps not so much amongst homeware but definitely in fashion. Unbeknownst to me until I looked back on these photos, I am wearing chevron on chevron. The perfect evening dress comes in the form of this navy and white number by Lace and Beads, with gorgeous beading all over the bodice and a skirt that flows beautifully with your every move. I paired it with an old Miss Selfridge faux fur coat (remember it from this post?) that has a really interesting but subtle chevron design to it. On an unrelated note, a good week after my last hair wash, I decided I had to wear it up. Upon trying to twist it in a bun, I found it was too thick to stay in place. I settled for a high ponytail as in these photos, but after an hour or two my head started to ache from the weight of my hair. Long story short, I am in desperate need of a haircut. Knowing me, I'll be putting it off for at least another month or so though, I'm just so lazy when it comes to my hair.
