H&M coat (old but similar here) / ASOS dress / Alexander Wang x H&M belt / Jeffrey Campbell shoes / Proenza Schouler bag / Topshop ring
This was one of my favourite outfits from a while back, now it seems extremely autumnal but when it comes to styling I do gravitate towards this particular season for inspiration pretty much all year round. I wore this on a night at the theatre to see Assassins, a musical starring Aaron Tveit (who was making his London debut from across the pond) and Catherine Tate. Before the show, I decided to switch out the chunky belt for something a little more forgiving because you know, I was prepared to do quite a bit of sitting and snacking. The play was at the Menier Chocolate Factory, a venue I'd never previously visited before, so I planned to get there a little earlier just in case I got lost. I managed to locate it alright and just as I was walking down the street towards the building, I bumped into James freaking McAvoy. That's right, he was just casually strolling down the same street. Had to stop him for a photo obviously and he is honestly one of the nicest 'celebs' ever, he even stayed to chat for a bit before riding off on a motorcycle (awww yeahhh). Also I've just realised that I wore this coat in one of my first ever outfit posts on this blog, back when I'd just moved to London! I've been trying to do a clear out of my clothes but as always, instead of actually throwing stuff out, I end up rediscovering old pieces. Tell me I'm not the only one who encounters this problem?
