OOTD | VINTAGE + CILLIAN MURPHY

Waiste Vintage dress / Primark flats

A pretty, vintage dress is probably my all time favourite thing to wear, I love the more high-necked styles of the past and this one has such vibrant and unique details. Playing with some of the colours on the dress, I paired it with some blue Primark flats and a bright orange lip (Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Anna Nicole). I wore this to an event at the BFI last month, they hosted a talk with director Ken Loach who was interviewed by actor Cillian Murphy about his work. The conversation was recorded by BBC so there were huge fancy cameras everywhere and moody lighting, I was intensely aware that I probably shouldn't cough or sneeze at any time during the two hour long talk. Afterwards they screened one of Ken's films, The Wind That Shakes The Barley that starred Cillian in the lead role. Quite a bleak film but on a happier note I met Cillian again beforehand and he remembered me (it's almost been a year since we last met though like how?), he's so lovely!
