Another one of my looks from my Belfast trip that you might have spied from my vlog. I recently talked about how I've been slowly building up the confidence to wear bodycon dresses. Even though my waist has always been the smallest part of me, I'm terribly self conscious of my pear shape and how bottom heavy I think I appear. It's difficult when, even in the more recent insurgence of plus size visibility, the media mainly portrays women with a certain hourglass figure, bust-waist-hip-ratio instead of using this advancement to showcase diversity in all shapes and sizes. We are all beautiful and we can all wear whatever the hell we want. It's the most liberating feeling taking that first step out of my comfort zone of skater dresses and flared skirts, looking in the mirror and thinking, "What was I so afraid of? I actually look good!"
